At Osenso, we believe that sustainable business is smart business. As a modern consultancy focused on helping organisations operate more efficiently with AI and systems optimisation, we are equally committed to reducing our own environmental impact and supporting responsible, ethical growth, both internally and for our clients.

1. Our Business Operations

 

While our physical footprint is low, we have established policies and principles that guide responsible decision-making in our daily operations:

 

Remote-First, Flexible Working

  • Osenso operates as a remote-first business, avoiding unnecessary office infrastructure and commuting emissions.

  • We promote a Work from Anywhere approach, allowing team members to minimise travel, avoid peak-time commuting, and structure their week for environmental and personal wellbeing.

  • For any team members who choose to work from a shared space, we encourage a minimum of two days a week remote to reduce travel-related impact.

 

Low-Impact Travel Policy

  • Travel is minimised and only approved when essential to commercial outcomes or client value.

  • Train is preferred over car travel whenever possible.

  • Taxi and solo car journeys are discouraged unless no other viable transport option is available.

 

Digital Sustainability

  • We limit digital waste by streamlining our tech stack and cloud usage, avoiding excessive storage or unnecessary tool duplication.

  • We prioritise cloud providers with sustainability commitments and review platform usage annually.

 

Paperless Operations

  • All documentation and resources are handled digitally.

  • Printing is only used where legally required or explicitly requested by a client.

 

Sustainable Supplier Selection

  • We choose suppliers who demonstrate ethical practices and environmental awareness.

  • We review our supplier base to ensure alignment with our values and sustainable growth principles.

 

 

2. Supporting Our Clients

 

We help businesses build not just smarter workflows, but leaner, more sustainable operations. Our services can directly support client sustainability goals by:

 

  • Reducing duplicated or manual work through system automation

  • Encouraging digital over physical processes (e.g. meetings, approvals, reporting)

  • Helping teams collaborate effectively across locations, reducing the need for physical presence

  • Identifying opportunities to streamline digital tools, data usage, and operational emissions

Sustainability awareness is embedded into Osenso’s onboarding process from the first hire.

We cultivate a culture of conscious decision-making, from platform selection to travel choices, and encourage team discussions around working responsibly and with intention.
